WE MADE IT TO THE BEACH! It felt so good to finally make it to Koh Phangan. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved Bangkok and how fast-paced and different it was, but there is just something about being on a white sand beach with clear water that just feels right.
Our first few days here, we took a boat around to the other side of the island, as we were staying on the south side, facing Koh Samui.
We went snorkelling, blasted music on the boat and made our way to this beautiful bay, Haan Than Sadet Beach, where we would leave the boat and trek to the waterfall. We met up with a few other groups doing the same thing and it was so cool to meet more people all doing the same thing.
It was a fresh water, waterfall and it was surrounded by huge rocks and little ledges which meant that you could climb all the way to the top and have the best view.
After spending the afternoon at Than Sadet Waterfall, lounging and partying on the boat, and making the most of the sunshine, we made our way to Malibu Beach, which was perfect! It was secluded, chilled and just what everybody needed.
The beach is definitely my happy place, so much so that my friend (the girl in the photos above – Shannah) and I found a hammock and just lay there for the rest of the afternoon, whilst everyone was taking group photos, we were just in our own little world. It was สมบูรณ์ – perfect in Thai!
