Here at University we had a recent project that involved looking at a lot of different fashion photographers, and this gave me the idea to show you guys a few of my favourites, as this is another one of my passions, besides travelling (but you guys know that). I might make a mini series of this whenever I come across really cool photographers or even artistic instagram accounts.
Gavin Watson
Gavin Watson was born in London grew up on a council estate in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. His work is very raw and rebellious. A lot of his photos are in black and white and show the grungy and gritty side to peoples lives but show them in an endearing and sometimes fun way.
Viviane Sassen
Viviane is a Dutch artist as well as a photographer. Her work is very distinctive and highly contrasted. Another main feature in her photographs are the interesting angles that the models make which really makes her photographs pop.
Marley Rizzuti
Marley is a New York-based photographer, and I just love her style of photography. It is what I am normally drawn to if you couldn’t tell from this list! It is really colourful and candid. Her campaign she did with Tidal Magazine is one of my faves.
Corinne Day
Corinne not only did fashion photography but also did documentary photography and was a fashion model herself. Some of my favourite photographs of hers were the ones she took of Kate Moss. They are just so innocent and youthful and I think really capture who Kate was as a young girl.
