Astrid & Miyu: Their Story

I thought I’d share with you one of my favourite jewellery companies right now. They are called Astrid & Miyu.

They are a London based contemporary jewellery brand, which has quickly become a staple amongst fashion editors, celebrities and influencers since its launch in 2012. Our dainty yet striking pieces have been worn by Georgia May Jagger, Pippa Middleton and Frankie Gaff, just to name a few. Their pieces are spotted on models and ‘it-girls’ everywhere in London.

They are best known for their signature ear stacks, this is something you might have seen on Instagram if you’re a jewellery fan like me. Their collections are inspired by the city of London, the arts, architecture and any people they meet! All of their pieces are designed in their London studios, which is really cool. It’s so nice to find a brand that is ‘born and bred’ if you will, where you’re from, and that it is good quality and I mean their stuff is gorgeous.

Another thing they like to do is collaborate with young design talent based in London. This is something I had never heard another jewellery brand do and I think it’s something other companies should take note of and start doing.

The idea behind the brand was to bring contemporary design jewelry and make it accessible to everyone. They want women to start building their wardrobe around jewellery season after season.

I recently got a few pieces from them for Christmas, and I wear them every day! I’ve even got the earrings in now as I’m typing.

Please check them out, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

xx
